Splash City, Collinsville, IL

Aaron and I had a great time in Collinsville this year! It was so nice having time to catch up with friends! During the course of the trip, I officially decided that West Virginia should be eliminated from our trip, as it adds almost 4 hours to the trip, plus mountains and bad drivers and Bambi's mom. I don't know when the rest of the country is going to recognize my decree, but its out there, its gonna happen.

Anyway, back to the action. It started out as a really hot day, but a couple storms blew through and we had to take a couple breaks. Aaron judged a lot of the heats, and did a great job!

I don't have all of the results, I was worried about the rain starting again, so I didn't break my camera out to take pictures of the awards ceremony, but what I do know is that Aaron won 1st in Drop Knee and I got 3rd in women's flowboard.

We had a weekend off this weekend (19th and 20th of June), but next weekend, Aaron is flying out to Spokane, Washington to compete in Moses Lake, Washington. I'm sure a good time will be had by all involved (especially since Aaron will get to hang out with his Navy buddies!)
