Here is the tentative map for our epic cross-country trip

You might be asking yourself, "What's a flowrider?" Simple enough, its a man-made wave that runs at around 20mph that you can surf or bodyboard on. We are lucky enough to be able to travel around the country to ride and compete on many different flowriders, and would like to make our favorite sport / hobby more accessible to others.

Updates
Aaron has been having some trouble with his shoulder lately, so Tuesday he went to see an orthopedic surgeon (in hopes that he could just get a cortisone shot or something)
Unfortunately, we now think that it is more than just muscle pain, that there might be a slight tear in one of two tendons in his shoulder.
He has been told that he needs to go for a "special" MRI (where they inject dye into the area) and have physical therapy for the next month and then revisit the Dr. At that time, we hope to find out that he does not need surgery, but that is an option.
Luckily, we were not planning on touring this year and hadn't already purchased plane tickets (as the cheap ones we buy usually aren't refundable). However, it does mean that Aaron won't be able to compete at the Massanutten competition on June 18th. We will go to support our friends, but not to compete.
If surgery is what needs to happen, we'll probably wait until after our epic cross-country trip, so we can still enjoy our epic cross-country trip! We might just need to revise some plans.

Summer plans
We have decided not to compete on the Waveloch Flowtour this season because we are planning an epic crosscountry flow-a-palooza. We plan on hitting as many flowriders as we can from here to Seattle, down the California coast and back in about 3 weeks. Yes, we will miss seeing all our flowfriends, but a trip like this doesn't come around everyday, and we're really excited about it. That being said, in the month of August, you'll see plenty of postings about our crosscountry adventure.

Hello again, friends!
Thanks for sticking around, friends. Its bad that we don't keep up with the blog in the "off months", but there really isn't much to report. The jets at Massanutten have been down, off and on, since before Christmas, so its been really hard for us to get some good practice time in.
Amanda's ankle has finally started to heal (nothing showed up on the x-rays. It was just a bad sprain).
Aaron should be getting 2 new Cartel boards in the mail any day now. He ordered a new bodyboard AND one of Cartel's new stand-up (flowboards).
Please bear with us as we try to update as much as we can.
